Warnings/Notes: A brief mention of death and some implied depression. Crossovers and AUs labeled accordingly with some prompts.

Trying to shake off some rust after a long time of not doing fics, but I'm happy with how some of the prompts turned out!!

1) Swords
He feels it sometimes each time he mires himself in sin– every blood he sheds, each life he steals, the tip of a phantom blade swings ever closer to his neck.

2) Sorcery
Suguru hitches his breath as he feels the energy weave through the maze of nerves; the first spark on the tips of his fingers transform into a small, round ball.

3) Rogue
He stares at the trail to Jujutsu Tech– the rocks have faded to a dull sheen with cracks forming in the foundation and the surrounding forest has cast a gloom over a path that now seemed narrow– before he closes his eyes and turns around, never once taking a glance back to a place that now felt unfamiliar to him.

4) Particolored [GetoFuji]
Suguru couldn’t help but be enchanted in the moment when he saw Fujino– her eyes gleaming in an ephemeral red-violet with a tinge of green; the complete opposite to the famed sky-blue of the Six Eyes.

5) Divination
Some part of him thinks back and wonders if there was anything, any sign that might have meant how everything was doomed from the start.

6) Pillory
He sees that moment every time he closes his eyes– the sharp crack of the barrel, the burst of petals so deep and red, the fading of irises that once held a life so fleeting– every single thing made into a permanent vice around his neck that he must carry for the rest of his life.

7) Chant
His soul feels a burn so intense and a weight heavy as sand with every sermon he holds and every little hymn that spills from his lips.

8) Castle
The mundane building stood out amongst the forest with its walls worn through the years, but Suguru’s heart swelled in anticipation as he walked down the path and to the start of a new life.

9) Brocade
The gold trim and intricate flowers weaving through the fabric caught his eye; it was unfitting for a monk, yet for the farce he was going to uphold, it suited him well.

10) Priest(ess) [JJK x KNK | Mainline AU]
Suguru thought Fujino was pretty and pure in the shrine maiden attire– stark white and faded, regal purple –fitting for the impossible dream he was about to make real, after all.

11) Knight
“Don’t call me that,” Suguru groaned as his eyes shut in a grimace and rubbed a hand against the back of his neck, “it’s just a duty, not some stiff title to uphold.”

12) Evocation [JJK x KnK | Geto Lives AU]
The lines were blurred as Suguru’s throat squeezed tight as he felt himself sink into the depths of the sight before him– disconnected walls stood amongst the lapping waves of the dark sea, and a garden of pale white hands swayed under the blood-red sky.

13) Market
The odd feeling sticks to him every time he comes back to a world he’s now abandoned and has since detested, but even Suguru knew he couldn’t forgo certain necessities as he held a plastic bag containing just enough for him and the twins to get by for the month.

14) Ordeal by Fire [JJK x KnK | Geto Lives AU]
He thinks to himself ‘How troublesome’ as he takes the sheet of chocolate cookies out of the oven, charred to a crisp that it could almost be mistaken for a charcoal briquet.

15) Ordeal by Water
Suguru sees it every night, the vast expanse of the sea contrasting with the dull grey blues of the sky, and the twisted thrumming in his chest that beckons him to take one step more each time he finds himself in its waters.

16) Dragon(fly)
His breath catches as they burst out of the canopy and his eyes shone at the view before him while the rush of air passes them by; the vast, bright blue sky above and the ocean of trees beneath.

17) Giant
He grapples with himself each time he comes back to his dorm room, how it’s just in his head– should be, yet all the same, the growing distance gets heavier as Gojo’s shadow becomes larger.

18) Trickster [GetoFuji]
Suguru’s smile grew, chuckling as Fujino’s cheeks turned red like cherry tomatoes while she flustered, and murmured under his breath “Cute.”

19) Dungeon
Each turn around the bend, every corner where he thinks there might be a glimmer of light– over and over, any path he took always came up to a dead end.

20) Scroll
Monotone, droll, and worse if a segment droned on– yet Suguru still tunes in to the news every now and then, taking notes and checking for exploits in some measure of safety to ensure Nanako and Mimiko’s days don’t go horribly wrong.

21) Elemental [GetoFuji]
Suguru stayed rooted to the spot and kept his gaze straight ahead, even as his fingers chilled to the bone gripping the umbrella handle and his heart thundered at being mere inches apart from Fujino.

22) Ale
No matter what Suguru drank, the aftertaste of curses would never leave; even molten lava wouldn’t be able to burn away the lingering bile in his throat.

23) Stew
It’s medicine to him– the soy sauce doesn’t intrude for long on his palate, and the coldness of the soba noodles soothes his throat as he slurps them down.

24) Staff
Suguru laid back against the chair and stared up at the ceiling as he let out a long sigh and muttered “There might have been sorcerers that used wands– but, they probably didn’t last for too long.”

25) Lore
“I appreciate how King Arthur’s story ties nicely into this segment,” Suguru grumbled as he flicked his eyes from the screen and back to Gojo “you skipped Yaga’s lessons today…just so you can play a visual novel??”

26) Artifact
Pieces of his memory float to the surface of his mind sometimes, yet he has long since viewed them as fragments that are out of reach, and no longer occupy a space in his heart.

27) Guild
They flow together, he and his found family– far from traditional, but not quite what he considered a second home –all the same, Suguru cherishes them as something close whenever they meet.

28) Lantern [JJK x KnK | Geto Lives AU]
For a brief moment, Suguru thinks he’s caught a glimpse of something he held dear; the weight on his heart eases, and stays like that as he lights a boat and sets it off down the river.

29) Chest [JJK x KnK | Roomies AU]
With a cup of coffee in hand, Suguru’s lips formed into a tight line as he glared at Sukuna and groused under his breath, “Maybe she’d prefer someone whose G-cup bouncy castle doesn’t come with a rocky moat full of lawsuits from cut toes.”

30) Alchemy [GetoFuji]
It was then Suguru felt his heart throb and became captivated by magic– the glint of the sun poked through the clouds and shone behind Fujino, basking her in a halo of ethereal light, her red eyes glimmering with a subtle warmth as she smiled back at him.

31) Potion
“Hurk–” Suguru heaved out a cough and wiped his mouth, before he glared at the neon blue concoction “This just made it worse…!”

32) Doppelganger
He stares back, fingers curling into fists as the thrum of the heart beats faster and the mouth purses into a tight line– but, how can he, when all of Suguru is no longer his own?

33) Arrow
Every pointed barb he threw at Gojo also pierced his own heart in turn; the numbness finally sinks in when he lets the final word drop.

34) Map
Every thread Suguru clings to becomes a wall of complications, a tangled mess he still couldn’t quite figure out, no matter how he went about it.

35) Coin
Underneath the faded light of the convenience store sigh, Suguru held out a few yen to the twins “Go on, get yourself some snacks– it’s going to be a long trip.”

36) Crusade
It builds and grows, every curse he deems first for what he knows– always has known –is a futile effort.

37) Witch [JJK x KnK | Mainline AU]
Suguru catches the jab that was lobbed at Fujino, and makes a mental note to kill the guy later and drain all of his undeserved funds to bestow upon her later.

38) Duel [JJK x KnK | Geto Lives AU]
Verbal punches were thrown and words sharp and barbed like the tip of a steel knife were hurled, yet Suguru felt himself slipping more and more into the abyss.

39) Boots
Suguru sighed as he stared out the door, having prevented an all-out war (rather, a temper tantrum between the twins) from breaking out over rain boots, though it was all for naught as the weather became an onslaught of heavy rain.

40) Chalice [FGO AU]
“I didn’t think anything would be as bad as the taste of curses,” Suguru said, wincing at the golden goblet before him, “but this certainly comes too close for my tastes.”

41) Offering
The lives of people who don’t know what lay behind the thick curtain of reality, or the lives of humanity for the chance of a select few to survive– Suguru could only bite the bottom of his lip as his brows furrowed in a grimace, the knowledge weighing heavily that regardless of either choice, he’d have to forfeit his own body and his very future.

42) Sacrifice [JJK x KnK | Mainline AU]
Something cold swirls like a black hole, and from it, something ugly thing crawls out from the depths and settles inside Suguru’s gut as he murmurs “You think your step-father will accept your refusal on the arranged marriage?”

43) Stained Glass
He thinks back to his life before, now a fractured blur of colors in a kaleidoscope of hazy memories.

44) Diadem
He always feels them, the phantom pricks from the twisted bramble of thorns; it’s a mockery of a crown that he carries within him every time he heads out to play up his role.

45) Epic
Suguru sucked in a breath as he stared out the window of his dorm, the view of the surrounding school and lush forestry making his heart beat a little faster as he thought– at the time, at least –of a bright future waiting for him.

46) King
For a brief second, the flash of a strained twitch tugged at the corner of Suguru’s benign smile as he tried to tune out the ceaseless droning of the newest member (really, nothing more than just another patsy), the thought of being elevated to a royal status instead of being seen as a guiding leader making his gut curl into a nauseous bile of disgust.

47) Servant [FGO AU]
“Am I really considered a legend in that sense…” he murmurs to Ritsuka as he looks off to the side and leers at nothing but empty space, beyond the boundaries “...the Throne of Heroes must have a terrible sense of humor, then.”

48) Fae
Suguru’s grin is placid and demure as he shakes hands with the latest investor for the new deal, but his eyes betray his intentions to no one but himself– beneath the veneer of warmth and acceptance is a storm, cold and focused and waiting for the chance to strike.

49) Prophecy
He stands at the edge of the roof and stares at the maze of cold, concrete buildings underneath the gray sky as he wonders for a brief second if it had all been pre-destined; a small part of his consciousness clung desperately to the vestiges that say otherwise.

50) Destiny [FGO AU]
Even though a part of Suguru will never forgive himself, in that moment, the smile that eases its way on his lips and full of a warmth he hasn’t felt in a long while, uncovers a spark he thought has long been buried and lost to time.
